I remember taking my level III theory and getting ready for level III practical. I couldn't do it until I coached bantams because NCCP said that until bantams mental preparedness was not an issue. I disagree and hopefully I can bring some of that aspect of the game to this forum.

Hi Bob

I'm hoping you can bring some ideas relating to mental preparedness to this forum. It's something we're trying to work on with our team this year, and it's definitely not easy.

And as far as the opinion that mental preparedness isn't an issue until Bantam, I can state with absolute certainty that this is an incorrect opinion.

We ran into mental preparedness issues last year at provincials and had some moments of mental "breakdown" at a tournament a few weekends ago. Especially with the tournament a few weekends ago, if the girls had been more mentally prepared and focused, things would have gone quite differently in a few innings.
