How do adjust a players throwing technique that wants to throw more of a side arm style?

A quick and easy way for them to solve this is to tell the player that they need to hit the thigh or knee of their glove-side leg (the lead leg) with their hand when they finish the throw, as a natural follow through on the throw.
This is very hard to do (as a natural follow through) for a sidearm throw. By coming "over the top", so to speak, it is easier to touch the leg.
Another thing you can do is have the player stand 2-3 feet away from a wall and throw to a partner. They won't be able to throw sidearm as they will hit the wall. Note that they do need to be somewhat away from the wall (2-3 feet) as the hand does come off the side of the body a little bit for a regular throw, even when throwing over the top.
